Workplace Wellness Training for Teams
Customized sessions that give your staff real skills to navigate stress, trauma, and burnout together.
Your team is struggling.
Burnout and compassion fatigue have become occupational hazards in nearly every sector. Maybe you are seeing retention rates drop, friction in teams, and a palpable dissatisfaction that's dragging down morale and service delivery. Generic wellness workshops won't cut it. Your team needs someone who gets it.
I bring 10+ years of frontline experience and clinical training to every session. My trainings are interactive, practical, and tailored to your team's reality. No fluffy self-care tips. Just real skills from someone who's lived it and come out the other side.
"Lexi's training is even good if people are not burned out because you know what to watch for. She gives very practical ideas that can be applied right away, but no pressure to do so."
—Engineer, City of Olympia
What we can focus on
Training topics
My trainings range from two hours to a full day, depending on your team's needs and goals. Every session blends education, group discussion, and practical skill-building.
Don't see what you're looking for? I develop custom trainings tailored to your team's specific challenges. If it's in my trauma and wellness wheelhouse, we can make it happen. Let's talk.
-
Explore the signs and symptoms of burnout and discover practical strategies to thrive in high-demand environments. Participants gain insights on caring for themselves and each other, leaving with new techniques alongside helpful reminders of skills they already have in their toolbox.
-
Vicarious trauma is the cumulative mental health impact of witnessing others' suffering, and it's more common than most workplaces realize. Through education and group discussion, participants learn to recognize signs in themselves and their colleagues, and build personalized wellness plans with self-care and collective-care strategies that actually work.
-
As customers face increasing challenges and employees experience more burnout, service interactions are becoming more emotionally charged. Participants learn trauma-informed skills to serve customers effectively, set boundaries, de-escalate tense interactions, and protect their wellbeing in the process.
-
Providers grieving the loss of clients who use drugs face a unique type of bereavement. Social stigma, the legacy of the War on Drugs, and complex provider-client dynamics make this grief differently isolating. I share professional and personal lived experience, normalize the non-linear journey of grief, and help participants build coping strategies together.
-
After difficult or tragic events, people naturally want to connect and share with others. But traditional debriefing can unintentionally spread trauma or overwhelm. Low-Impact Debriefing offers a framework for processing together while reducing harm.
My approach
What makes this different
Customized to your team
All too often, trainers use the same slide deck and deliver the same content to everyone. I meet with leadership first to understand your team's strengths, challenges, and culture, then build a session around your specific reality.
Led by someone who gets it
I'm not a cookie cutter consultant. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10+ years in frontline social services. I've experienced burnout myself and found my way through. That perspective shapes everything I teach.
Interactive, not lecture-style
I draw on the wisdom already in the room. Through group discussions, exercises, and skill-building, participants leave with strategies they can actually use. Not just concepts they will forget by next Monday.
Support that continues
Training doesn't end when I leave. Every participant gets a post-training packet with key concepts, reflection exercises, and a personalized wellness planning worksheet to keep the momentum going.
"Anyone who wants to be in the helping or service world long term should absolutely do this workshop so they can have the longevity they want in that role."
