Glad You’re Here

I work with people to help them find the solutions and answers to the questions and concerns they bring to therapy. I am here to provide my expertise and presence as a guide to help you gain a deeper self-understanding, along with the confidence and tools to make the change you want to see in your life.

I wanted to be a therapist because I love hearing peoples’ stories. I love witnessing their “ah-ha” moments as they learn more about themselves and see that they have skills to heal. I want to be present to witness their pain, discomfort, and frustration, because these too are essential parts of stories. This all feels natural and fulfilling to me, and I am really lucky to enjoy what I do.

I have skills working with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness meditation, and Internal Family Systems. While we can use any or all of these as needed, what I have found in my practice is that what is most effective to healing is the therapeutic relationship—that you feel comfortable opening up to me and learning about yourself with me. At the end of the session, my hope is that while you might not feel better right away, you feel seen, supported, and a little closer to achieving the goals that brought you there in the first place.
